Aislinn was born in Melbourne, Australia with family ties to the east end of London.

She has worked in social justice for over twenty years and has an Executive MBA, a BA (Hons) in Anthropology/Aboriginal studies and completed a fellowship with the Centre for Sustainability Leadership.

Aislinn has travelled extensively and enjoys podcasts, hiking, gardening, living sustainably, spending time with animals, dry humour and pineapple donuts.

In her second act of life….

Aislinn writes about gender, equality, sexism, family violence, women’s health, feminism, Australian history, travel, nostalgia and the environment.

She is currently working on a multi-generational, unintentional feminist memoir, spanning several centuries and two countries.

I acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Narrm (Melbourne) and the wider Kulin Nation, who have cared for Country for more than 60,000 years and pay my respects to Elders past and present. Always was, always will be.
